Job Description:

The roles and responsibilities of a Network Support Engineer include, but are not limited to:

Assisting other departments when it comes to localized issues for the network
Ensuring the effective administration and troubleshooting skills to our operational networks should they fail, while adhering to the SLA and departmental KPI
Developing and maintaining all of the comprehensive paperwork associated with the implemented network
Managing all of the technical network resources for both new and operational services as a whole
First line support for our global enterprise customers through both voice calls and emails
Key Requirements:

English language is crucial, additional languages are a plus.
Great interpersonal skills along with effective communication skills on both teleconference as well as emails will be a priority
Good understanding of IP Networking and routing protocols is mandatory, we will be testing you during the interview hence be prepared
Problem solving skills on network issues
Critical thinker, persistent, as well as being a proactive and team player
Comfortable and able to operate independently, with a clear set of responsibility and does not require much supervision
Willing and able to work unsociable hours while still being comfortable in a high-paced, dynamic working environment
Allowed to legally work in Malaysia without permits
Able to perform shift work including public holidays and weekends
Further Qualifications and Skills:

Working experience in the IT/Telecom sector is an advantage, but fresh graduates may apply
Great personality and a professional ethic
Punctual, organized, accurate as well as flexible
Able to work in small team or independently on a range of tasks
Having Cisco/Juniper certifications will be a great advantage
